Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. Epic Surf School reserves the right to revise and update the terms and conditions presented whenever it deems necessary.<\/p>\n

General Information<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Epic Surf School (also called ESS) is a school specializing in teaching surfing to all levels (Beginner\/Intermediate\/Advanced) and for all ages from 6 years old.<\/li>\n
  • ESS provides the necessary equipment for surfing.<\/li>\n
  • ESS provides an extra transportation service for all its students who wish to include this service.<\/li>\n
  • ESS collaborates with experienced surf instructors, accredited by the FPS (Portuguese Surf Federation) and IPDJ (Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Surf Lessons<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Classes at ESS are held in groups or individually (private lessons).<\/li>\n
    • Lessons at ESS can be purchased in the following formats: Single lesson; Lesson packages of 3\/5\/10; Private lessons; Private lesson packages.<\/li>\n
    • Session duration: 2 hours (including preparation and warm-up).<\/li>\n
    • Teaching location: Riviera Beach, Costa da Caparica, and according to the most suitable sea conditions (tide chart, weather and sea conditions).<\/li>\n
    • ESS limits group classes to a maximum of 5 students per instructor, and 20 students per class (4 instructors) to ensure greater safety, personalized service, and quality of instruction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Reservations and Bookings<\/h3>\n

      Lesson reservations:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • Lessons can be booked directly at the school, or by phone\/email\/WhatsApp\/Instagram\/Facebook.<\/li>\n
      • Reservations requested more than 48 hours in advance require a 50% deposit of the total amount in question to be validated. The remaining balance must be paid before the start of the first lesson.<\/li>\n
      • For initial registration, ESS requires the following information to activate individual insurance: First and last name; Date of birth; Nationality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Scheduling classes:<\/p>\n

          \n
        • Class scheduling and times can be communicated in person at the school, or via SMS\/email\/website the day before the class.<\/li>\n
        • Communicating classes via SMS\/email requires confirmation from the student\/client by the time specified in the message to validate their attendance.<\/li>\n
        • In case of adverse conditions, the class will be rescheduled and the new date and time will be communicated via SMS\/email.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Insurance<\/h3>\n
            \n
          • From the moment of registration, all ESS students\/clients are covered by individual personal accident insurance (in addition to civil liability insurance), valid for all sessions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Tuition Payment<\/h3>\n
              \n
            • Lessons can be paid for in cash at the school, by credit card (via Paypal), or by bank transfer (IBAN sent during the booking process).<\/li>\n
            • Payment by bank transfer requires sending proof of payment to: info@epicsurfschool.pt<\/li>\n
            • Epic Surf School does not accept card payments on its premises.<\/li>\n
            • The packs are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase.<\/li>\n
            • ESS requires the submission of tax information for issuing a receipt\/invoice.<\/li>\n
            • All prices charged by ESS include 23% VAT.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Cancellation and No-show<\/h3>\n
                \n
              • Once the student\/client’s attendance at the class is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled, except for reasons of illness or force majeure that are duly justified.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Refunds:<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  \n
                • Refunds require that a cancellation notice be sent to info@epicsurfschool.pt<\/strong> up to 48 hours before the scheduled lesson.<\/li>\n
